While we do our best some stones are more difficult than others, especially colour-change stones and parti sapphires. Retouching is limited to cropping, dust removal, exposure adjustments and adjusting the temperature. While The Stone Alchemist strives to produce accurate photos we cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product in person.

Warranty:
At The Stone Alchemist, we create beautiful one-off gemstones and jewellery. With each piece being bespoke small imperfections or variations might occur. Some jewellery pieces might be purposely rustic, or have a surface finish that will change over time, like oxidation or a matte finish. Stones might have inclusions within them. All of these little nuances are what make the items unique, like you. Here at The Stone Alchemist, we celebrate this and do not consider these defects.
The Stone Alchemist offers a one-year warranty on all items and will repair all manufacturing faults free of charge within this time period. If an item cannot be repaired an exchange or a refund will be issued once the item has been evaluated by us in person.
Our warranty does not apply to items that have been handled against our care instructions or damaged by accident or misuse.
General wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing fault. This includes but is not limited to: scratches on the stone or metal, chipped gemstones, bent or miss-shapen bands, discolouration due to chemical exposure, bent or worn settings allowing a stone to come loose from normal wear or accidental damage.
Our products have guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. You can get a replacement or refund for a major failure and get compensation for any other reasonable loss or damage. If the goods aren't up to scratch but it's not a major problem, you can also get them fixed or swapped. Just remember, "major failure" means something specific in Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty is only available to the purchaser.
Any repairs by anyone other than The Stone Alchemist will void all warranty.
Out-of-warranty repairs can still be performed but at a cost to the customer.
