Sizing

The best and most accurate way to find your ring size is to visit a local jeweller and get your figures sized professionally. If this is not possible we are more than happy to send you a free ring-sizing belt, just contact us. The belt can be tightened around your finger to give an accurate enough size. You should tighten the belt enough so it slides over the knuckle and has a tiny bit of resistance when trying to spin it around your finger. If you find that to get the at one size it is to loose say N and the next increment it is too tight say M you might be a half size, M1/2.

Temperature will affect your finger size. Your fingers will also get a bit bigger throughout the day. We recommend sizing your finger a couple of times throughout the day at room temperature. Note that each finger is a little different, even between hands. We recommend sizing each finger individually.

If you are choosing a ring with a wider band we recommend sizing up. Generally, one size is good for bands 5-9mm and 2 sizes for 9mm and over.

Most of our rings are resizable to a degree, we usually only go 3 sizes in either direction to ensure we don’t put any strain on the stone set in the piece. This may incur a cost, depending on the complexity and whether any metal needs to be added. Some pieces may not be resizable. We will state that in the description. Rings that have been resized are no longer eligible for a return, exchange or refund.

Ultimately it is your responsibility to size your figure correctly. The Stone Alchemist does not take any responsibility for any incorrect choice of size. We reserve the right to refuse any resizing requests.
